Once you are 30 days late, late payments continue to go on your credit report every 30 days, e.g. 60 days, 90 days, 120 days, and 180 days. Typically, a credit card account will be charged off after it becomes more than 180 days late. The charge-off resulting from the late payment will go on your credit report as well as a charge-off status.
