The Discover it is the new "it" credit card, pun intended. Discover has completely revamped and simplified its consumer credit card offerings. Available on the Discover website are only the Discover it and the Discover it for Students. (No more Discover More, Discover Motiva, Miles, Escape, etc.)
The two credit cards feature many of the same great perks: no annual fee, no late fee on the first late payment, no penalty interest rate increase, 5% cash back on purchase in categories that rotate each quarter and 1% cash back on other purchases. The promotional and post-promotional APR are the major differences between the regular Discover it and the one for students.
