I don't typically do link roundups, but there were a few pieces of interesting credit card news that I wanted you to read.
  • A less-discussed part of the new rules will force free credit report sites from misleading consumers. TV and radio ads will have to include a disclaimer stating that those reports are not the same as those granted by Federal law. From Huffington Post. See my FreeCreditReport.com review.
  • CreditCards.com has an interactive timeline detailing the journey of the new legislation.
  • If you get an American Express bill for $0 on a credit card that's been closed, don't be alarmed. It's an error. via Consumerist
