Definition: A three-in-one, or 3 in 1, credit report is a credit report that contains information from all three credit bureaus – Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. The three-in-one credit report lists all the same information as a regular credit report, but lets you compare account information across the three credit bureaus. This way, you can easily see if there are any differences in the information the three bureaus report about each account, or if certain bureaus are not reporting an account at all.
All three credit bureaus sell a 3-in-1 credit report for just under $30. However, you should be careful about ordering your 3-in-1 credit report from the credit bureaus or even a third-party, especially if you get the report for free. Often, you'll be enrolled in a trial subscription to a credit monitoring service. Your first 3-in-1 credit report may be free, but once the trial ends, your credit card will be charged each month until you cancel.
Alternate Spellings: three-in-one credit report
