Why are my credit scores from each bureau different?

By , About.com Guide

Question: Why are my credit scores from each bureau different?
Answer:

Each of the three credit bureaus - Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion - uses a slightly different calculation to come up with your credit score.

Not only that, you could have different information on each bureau's credit report. Since your creditors might not report to all three bureaus, one or two of your credit reports might contain account history the others don't.
