- You can purchase your Equifax credit report and credit score directly from the Equifax website for $15.95 Through their website, Equifax also allows you to order your free credit report for the reasons granted by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (visit Equifax.com/FCRA. That includes being denied for services, receiving public welfare assistance, or searching for a job.
- If you order a 3-in-1 credit report from any of several online vendors, you'll receive your Equifax credit report as well as your report from Experian and TransUnion.
Dispute Equifax Credit Report Errors
After reviewing your Equifax credit report, you might find errors. Under the The Fair Credit Reporting Act, you the right to dispute these errors and have them removed from your creidt report.
When you order your credit report, Equifax should include instructions for disputing errors. For example, when you access your credit report online, you'll be given a link that you can use to submit your dispute.
You can also dispute credit report errors by mail. Simply write a credit report dispute letter, highlight the errors on your credit report, and send any supporting documents you have to Equifax's credit report dispute address:
