Question: Which Credit Report Errors Can I Dispute?
Answer: You can dispute information on your credit report that is inaccurate or incomplete. This includes:
  • addresses where you never resided
  • accounts that don't belong to you
  • payments reported as late that were actually received on time
Credit bureaus are allowed to report any information that the information provider says is accurate.
