If you're a student looking for a great starter credit card, check out the Discover it For Students. There's no annual fee - which is great for someone just starting out with credit. There's also no late fee on the first late payment and a 0% introductory rate on purchases for the first 6 months.

You can choose your own due date, for example, to fall in line with paydays from your part-time job or work-study payments. Unlike most other credit cards, there's no penalty rate increase on late payments. Remember, however, that late payments can still hurt your credit score.

Earn cashback rewards on your purchases: 5% on categories that rotate throughout the year (restaurants and movies through March) and 1% on everything else. There's a cap on the 5% rewards you can earn each quarter, but no limit to 1% rewards.

Read a complete review of the Discover it for Students to learn more about the pricing details and what makes this credit card so great for students.
