Checking your credit score just got a little more convenient. Credit Sesame, the personal finance service that offers a free monthly credit score, has launched an app for iPhone users.
If you've been a sucker to free credit score gimmicks, you might be skeptical of using Credit Sesame. But, unlike many other websites that promise free credit scores, you don't have to enter your credit card number to get a free credit score every month through Credit Sesame, not from its new app or its website, CreditSesame.com.
The new app also shows how much debt you have based on your credit report and how you might save money by getting lower interest rate loans.
You must enter a four-digit PIN into the app to access your credit score details. The PIN helps keep your Credit Sesame information safe if your phone is ever lost or stolen.
The app is free and available through the iTunes app store.
