It's been live for less than 2 weeks and Blippy users have already made $1 million in credit card purchases. Blippy is a social media site similar to Twitter, that lets you post information about your credit card transactions as soon as you make them. For example, a blip might say "Susie spent $75 at iTunes."
So far, the average credit card purchase is around $46 which owners expect to decrease as more users start signing up.
Signups were previously closed while the service was in a private-invitation beta testing, but a few more people were let in last week. You may be able to get in on the testing by entering the code "1MILLION" at the signup at Blippy.com.
