While the concept of credit - getting the goods now and paying for them later - has been around since early B.C., it wasn't until the 1950s that a credit card which could be used at different locations was introduced. My first credit card was a Citibank Student Visa card. It had a $500 limit and offered 1% cash back on purchases. Pretty good for a first credit card. Do you remember yours? Let us know in the comments.
