Improve Your Credit By Watching TV

Monday January 21, 2008
Despite what your parents tell you (and what you tell your children), there is something worth watching on television.

Two shows in particular can help you learn more about credit and debt management while giving you tips to help you improve your own financial situation.
  • "Maxed Out" on Style is a reality tv show in which host Allison Griffiths helps couples fix their damaged finances. I know what you're thinking, "Isn't Style that network that tells me 'What Not To Wear?'" Trust me, "Maxed Out" is about coordinating your income and mortgage payments, not your slacks and shoes.

  • "The Suze Orman Show" on CNBC features personal finance expert, Suze Orman. Each week, Suze covers a different financial topic and answers questions from callers and emailers.
You can check your local listings to see if you have these channels.

Do you watch these or any other shows that help you with your credit and debt?
