If all credit cards were just alike, credit card companies would have a hard time getting us to sign up for their credit cards. It would come down to a decision about which credit card company seemed the best. Fortunately, different credit cards have different features that make them more or less attractive. Features like low interest rates and longer grace periods sway us to apply for one credit card over another.
