Reporting A Lost Credit Card

Thursday November 22, 2007
A lost credit card is a scary situation, especially the first time. Even though you might be worried, stay calm and don't panic.

You must report your missing credit card to your card issuer as soon as possible to prevent your liability for any unauthorized purchases made using the card. The sooner you contact your creditor, the sooner your credit card can be cancelled, and, most importantly, the sooner you can rest knowing your card won't be used fraudulently.

Let's hope that you never have to deal with a lost or stolen credit card but it's best to be prepared just in case you do.
