Building Good Credit

Thursday June 14, 2007
Good credit doesn't happen overnight. It comes from years of using credit the right way. If you never learn the right way to use credit, it's easy to make the mistakes that lead to bad credit.

Building a good credit history is easier than you think. It lies in making good decisions about how you use credit.
  • Charge only what you can afford
  • Avoid maxing out your credit cards
  • Keep a small number of cards
  • Pay your balance on time
  • If you carry a balance, do it right
That's not too tough, is it?
